Blizzard Drum Corps, Inc. was formed in the fall of 2001 as an alliance
between the 3 Blizzard corps. Founded by Executive Director, Bryan Parkhurst, Blizzard Drum Corps, Inc. will be able to have
fundraisers to benefit all three corps instead of just one. The corps are still independent, but have one central office located
in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. All three corps are competitive, but only Blizzard and The Blizzard Cadets compete in FDCI
competitions. The Blizzard "Cute Corps" is for our younger participants, they compete at area competitions and perform
in exhibition at some marching band competitions.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership
for these corps are by audition only, but, if someone auditions for Blizzard, and does not make the corps, depending on the
score for that person, they will either have automatic membership in The Blizzard Cadets, or will recieve a letter in the
mail inviting that person back for auditions for the next year. Check each corps' page for membership requirements.
